PROBLEM: Comprehensive graphic design for the Academic Graphics Biennale AGRAFA and an International Conference on Design. To combine the two events into one consistent visual identity while maintaining the division between the events.

IDEA: Illustrated projects, characters dedicated to the event shown in a comic context.

SOLUTION: From the very beginning, we consistently followed the division: yellow – conference, white – AGRAFA. The prints that were common for both events merged these colours. All the speakers at the Conference were portrayed visually and received attributes characteristic for each of them: glasses, a beard, dress or hairstyle. Biennale materials also included character designs, but without their individual characteristics. The participant images brought humorous elements to the identification and enabled the creation of funny stories on posters, such as a discussion between a student and a professor. The main catalog was supplemented by specially released errata, which took into account each and any omission, even the slightest, in order to emphasize the importance of responsibility in design, which was the main topic of the Conference.
